You might find this shocking…
After surveying thousands of pastors in America, a recent study shows 42% of full time pastors have given “real, serious consideration” to quitting ministry…
Given this reality, our desire is to equip young ministry couples to lead from a place of rest and to help them cultivate core family values early in their career and calling, believing that sabbatical rhythms and soul-health creates space for the transformative work of the Holy Spirit.
01. The Reality
There are 4 foundational issues causing the leadership crisis that we see in the church today…
The Isolation
When your workplace doubles as your place of worship and your boss is also your spiritual leader, young ministry leaders often feel there’s no safe space for vulnerable conversations, causing them to suffer in silence until it’s too late.
The Acceleration
Most charismatically gifted leaders lack essential skills in time management, priority setting, and rest rhythms. As ministry demands accelerate, so does their anxiety and unhealthy coping habits.
The Elevation
We promote gifted individuals to leadership before they’ve learned self-leadership. When ministry demands exceed their spiritual capacity, they find themselves in positions their souls can’t sustain.
The Foundation
Many ministry couples can articulate their church’s mission but struggle to define their family’s core values. Without this foundation, their families become the sacrifice for ministry success.
02. The Result
When leaders lack the spiritual formation to handle the pressures of ministry, they overcompensate with charisma and giftedness. But eventually it all breaks down; leaving marriages in shambles, families broken, and damaging the very people they were called to shepherd.

03. The Response
While our hearts grieve over every moral failure that hits the headlines, we believe that we can fight this sabotage cycle by equipping young leaders with the tools and insights they need today to leave a godly legacy of faith tomorrow.
We accomplish this by inviting young couples on a transformational journey through rejuvenating retreats, monthly cohort calls, and building like-minded community with colleagues who are on the same journey to find wholeness in marriage, family life, and ministry.
